Delete Your Account

You can delete your Card Pilot account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app — fastest

Open Card Pilot and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again for security.

Deletion happens immediately.

By email — if you can't access the app

Email us from the address on the account with the subject line Delete my account. We'll verify it's you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials
Your entire card inventory
Your buy list and trade records
Your sales history, purchase prices and profit records
Every photo you uploaded
Your saved home base ZIP code and preferences

This is permanent. Deleted collections cannot be recovered. If you want to keep a record of your inventory or sales, export it before you delete.

What may be retained, and for how long

Routine encrypted backups and server logs may contain residual data for a short period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations. We may also retain records we're legally required to keep, such as transaction records for tax purposes. None of this is used to rebuild your account or contact you.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Card Pilot account does not cancel your subscription. Billing is handled by Apple or Google, so you need to cancel it with them:

iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Card Pilot → Cancel Subscription
Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Card Pilot → Cancel

Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account.
