What can I use right now?
Everything but the social layer. Market Comps, AI card scan, the Asset Log, Buy/Trade, and the card show map are all live in the app today. The social features — Deal Room, browsing inventories, and following — are in active development.
What platforms is Card Pilot on?
Card Pilot runs on iPhone and Android — download it from the App Store or Google Play. A full web app is in development; when it lands, everything syncs to the same collection, so you can start on your phone at a show and pick up on your computer at home.
How much does Card Pilot cost?
Two plans: Collector at $14.99/mo (up to 1,000 cards) and Pro at $19.99/mo (up to 2,500 cards). Both include AI scan, market comps, the card show map, and buy/trade tracking. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial — we ask for a card at signup, and it auto-renews monthly once the trial ends.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, and there’s no cancellation fee or minimum term. Billing runs through your device’s app store, so you cancel from your store subscription settings rather than inside Card Pilot — the App Store on iPhone, or the Google Play subscriptions page on Android. Either way it takes a few taps. Cancel before your 7-day trial ends and you won’t be charged at all. Cancel later and you keep full access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Is my card and payment data secure?
Card Pilot never sees or stores your card number. Subscription payments are handled entirely by your device’s app store — Apple’s App Store or Google Play — so your payment details stay with them, the same system behind every other app you’ve bought on your phone. Your account sign-in and collection data run on Google Cloud infrastructure, and your inventory is private to your account. We don’t sell your collection data.
How does AI card recognition work?
Point your camera at the card and Card Pilot reads what’s printed on it — player, set, year, and card number — then matches that against the card database and pulls the comps. You see the match before anything is saved, so if it lands on the wrong parallel or a similar-looking base card, you correct it in a tap. Clean lighting and a flat card give the best results; heavily worn or off-angle cards may need a manual search instead.
Where do the comp prices come from?
Market Comps pulls recent sales data for the exact card and grade you’re looking at, so you can price against what the market is actually doing rather than a guess. Direct eBay sold-price integration is in progress and will expand the data behind every comp.
Can I find card shows in the app?
Yes — the card show map is live. Find shows near you, filter by distance, date, and size, and plan your next hunt.
Can I list my card show on Card Pilot?
Yes, and it’s free. If you promote or vend at a show, email support@cardpilot.me with the date, venue, table count, and a link, and we’ll get it on the map so collectors in your area can find it. Recurring monthly shows only need to be submitted once.
When do the social features launch?
The Deal Room, collector profiles, and following are in development and rolling out soon. Follow Card Pilot on Facebook or Instagram to catch the announcement.
